Sneak peek-Composite Craft RC10 worlds buggy

Post by shodog »

Parts are finally coming together for my Worlds chassis build. The bulk of the chassis will be aftermarket parts from Composite craft, RPM and Tecnacraft. I just put the finishing touchs on the wheels. Here is a peek.

Thanks for the compliments, I am excited to get started on this ride. I have have evertything to start but I am undecided as to go with a stealth and losi hydra drive or save my hydra drive and rpm case for an upcoming composite craft 10T build.

Well, I had hoped to start the build of my worlds car this weekend but with my Friend getting his ass kicked by a Cow and in the process getting 6 broken ribs and a busted spleen, kinda tunred that thought down.

It did however allow me to reflect on my intial thoughts about the ditrection of the build. Originally I was set on going with the gold in the centers of my wheels but after spraying some red I have had second thoughts. the gold looks seet out in the sun but so does the Red.

Alot of the parts will be blacck on the chassis but I do have the oppurtunity to dye the white suspension arms, the rear bulkhead and the stealth gearcase in a color. I have Yellow and I have red.

What are your thoughts on these color choices?

Red be my favorite so I vote red. Either looks stunning. I mean, come on. Just look at those rims. You could make 'em pink and purple and they would look good :D
He's an idiot. Comes from upbringing. His parents are probably idiots too.

Wheel colour choice

Post by Dr. Robotnik »

I think either looks amazing.

If you wanted to be super individual and for the wow factor I think a colour like red is nice. But I personally think that red looks (in the pics at least) to much like something achieveable by anodizing, I'd like to see a colour or design that presently isn't available by anodizing or in modern wheel designs.

For a slightly more realistic colour choice like FlyinGN said I'd go for the gold. But have you tried other shades of gold too? I am just not that big a fan of that colour gold.

So in summary they both look superb and it doesn't matter which you pick it'll look great either way.
