Great pics. That rear tower on masamis rig is sure up high .

Yep the rear tower on the 93 wcs uses the long associated rear shocks so its much higher than previous yokes.

I have been thinking this same thing almost 20 years now. Why Yokomo used very high and very outward shock towers at the 1991, 1993 and 1995 world's? Those tracks didn't seem to so different from other tracks (OK: 1991 track did have that "surf section") and those shock positions were not used in practice nowhere else. Was it only because Masami's different driving style required that kind of thing to make car turn quick or something?
