Walmart find

Post by call-911 »

Was wandering the isles at Walmart today and saw these. I'm thinking if they had a Frog, I would've bought one.

Yeah, I have seen a commerical on Fuel TV for those..... I thought I remembered seeing a Frog on the commerical. I didn't know that they had them at Walmart. Good to know.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

Hmmm... I could throw one in the bed of one of my scale trucks.

A 'Scorcher or Buggy Champ-Rough Rider would be neat. I wouldn't mind a Frog myself, it was my first hobby grade kit years ago.
Projects and shelfers:
Late Edinger, RC10B2, Dual Sport, GT, Kyosho Turbo Ultima, Triumph, Tamiya Sand Scorcher, Blackfoot/Monster Beetle, '67 Beetle, Nikko Rhino, Traxxas Fiero, Slash, Hand-built Dune Buggy..all on here somewhere...

So, these aren't actually Tamiya products, but licensed and made by Tomy? Or is that a sub-division of Tamiya that I don't know about?

I bought a mini hotshot for my daughter and she loves it. Played with it half the day yesterday. These things are great.

Sorry to dig up an old post, but we were just at Target and there was a 50% off shelf that had the entire stock left of these. It was mainly the Hornet and Hotshot, but a couple of Foxes and a single Avante all for $7. I broke down and bought a Hornet for screwing around at the office. 8)
