I am not absolutely certain, however the location of the wires would indicate what they are, IMHO. Anything that has to do with controlling the ESC is on the side, anything that has to do with output from the ESC is on the end. I would guess the two red wires being a BEC, the two blacks for the switch, which can be wired together rather than having a switch installed.
I just went out and looked at my Tekin Titan and there are two bundles of wire coming out of the side. One bundle is of three wires - red/white/black - that goes to the receiver. The other bundle is - black/black/ red. The black/black are the switch, the red is a loner that's not hooked up to anything and I believe it to be a BEC. I don't know if I still have the manual running around for it or not, I'll look later.

If this helps...since there should only be one red FET wire (like the other red is for the Rx (+) unless you actually have three small red wires poking out).
I know this is more of a scaler thing but its still electrical lol
Ok so i plan to wire up my 1.9 this weekend. Here is a diagram of what i think i need to do.Id like a second opinion on my plan. I also have a question on wiring up the LED...

why are there three wires? Does it use the brown for ground, and orange and red are both outputs?
You might actually want to use the ESC BEC for the receiver and speed controller, and use the UBEC for everything else.
This is a question aimed at the performance fanatics who don't forget the devil's in the details. What wiring do you use, from your power connector-to-ESC, and from ESC-to-motor? 16 gauge or 18 gauge? Copper or something else?
Back in the...

Thanks for your reply, but I'm not sure what the era has to do with choosing the best gauge & kind of wire for performance.
Well, because anything today is using at least 12-gauge silicone wire. Really hard to even buy anything else R/C-oriented....
I just bought an outright evil LRP VECTOR X11 3.5 turn (9800kv!!!) brushless motor and plan to run it with my Mamba Max ESC.
Just need some help with the wiring...
LRP-Blue,Yellow & Orange
Mamba-Black,Red & White.
My guess would be red...

Must have been too tired, last night...I got the wiring wrong and the sucker only ran in reverse,so if anyone else wants to do this, the REAL deal is:
ESC red to motor blue.
ESC black to motor orange.
ESC white to motor yellow.
So, I'm ready to finish up my wiring on my 5link, and need some help with my novak T4, and motor wiring. Where I have the speedo mounted makes things a bit difficult, but i know iv seen them mounted here before. See picture:
1) The motor wires...

i would be re-wiring the lead coming from the esc, soldering new wire into the circuit board can be tricky if your new to it. its easy to cut the wire with some extra length with in the orange case, slip some very fine heatshrink over the ends and...
O.K. I now have or am waiting on all of the parts to finish my RC10 build. My concern now is how I connect everything.
I have set the car up with a 6 cell 7.2V NIMH battery pack. I will also have a 2.4 Ghz radio transmitter and receiver. I have an...
Newbie question: what are these two black and red wires supposed to be connected to?
They come out of the receiver with the slot marked batt.
I presume that is short for battery so do I need to run another small battery
just to these two wires? Or...
As soon as I touch the wires to the motor it starts spinning at full speed. The battery is plugged in, switch on, and throttle is not being pulled. Am I just switching the motor and battery wires or is something else happening?

Thanks! The manual was helpful. Took a couple tries but I got it working.
