I think how it's setup has a lot to do with it. I can make any shock a poor performer with my oil and disc choice. 😁

Somebody above mentioned the AYK Pro Radiant shocks too. A good call. I have found these to be excellent and buttery-smooth.

Back in the day though, I only ever ran Option House Golds. On everything. The first thing I changed on my CAT XL, 870c and my Works 91 were the shocks. For me they were the best available.

Your collection of Brimod bits is simply awesome!

As a teenager I worked at a local hobby shop building kits for the owner, who happened to be sponsored by Tamiya. He had the most decked out Fox I had ever seen and he sported Brimod shocks which I used to drool over. If I ever get ahold of some, I plan to build a replica of his Fox, he used to wipe the floor with that thing on club racing weekends.

Has to be the Tamiya shocks linked below out of there TRF division. Haven't found a better set of buggy shocks yet! They blow me away every time, although super pricey.

Three years + and still running ,my longest thread , must be longer than winning an argument with my wife
While I'm here what are people's impressions on Fan RC replica RC10 Gold shocks ?
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

I am the worst driver and Masami is the greatest, therefore XLS shocks must be the best. They perform well across the entire skill range.
