I'm looking to fit a slipper to an Ultima ST. I'd like to get rid of the proprietary gear. Neither slippers nor gears are common to come by these days. Does anyone know of a slipped that uses a metric pin drive? T*****s is hex drive, B/T4 is slotted, Kyosho RB uses a flat in the shaft. What pressure plates can still be found that accept a pin?

Looks like B3 is a pin (but SAE). B6 may work. I'lll have to dig through my son's race spares box.

Different Traxxas vehicles used different kinds of input shafts. I think that there was hex, pin, and DD.

Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

Know anyone with a modern tra**as 2wd? The newer ones use pin drive but have a stoopid offset gear. Drag race concepts make a pin drive slipper eliminator that uses standard gears.

Steve, look for Team CRP's front stub axle adaptors part number 1552. They replace the stock imperial stub axles with 5mm metric ones on the front....

whats a stock servo to you? futaba 3003, yes it's faster then that, a 3003 can't even move the tires when parked.

i had the cpe servo in my 1/8 buggy and it was slow, it was even slower in my clod. it works and it's tough but don't expect too much.

hi, i was just wondering if anybody could tell me if and how i can strip paint of a pan without damaging the anodising? i have a nice pan with no scratches that has been sprayed blue over the top. it looks nice but for what i'm building i want the...

just in case anybody is ever wondering, paint stripper works fine. i left it soaking for quite some time and the anodising was totally unspoiled. the pan ended up looking like cr*p but at least the anodising wasn't spoiled :?

I've tried searching and couldn't seem to track down the answer.
So could anyone recommend what pinion to run on my 10.5?
I'm running the stealth box and the B4 slipper with 81t spur, also got 2.2 rims, any ideas?!

Think I've got it sorted now.
I know what works on my B4 so have worked it backwards using:
spur divided by pinion multiplied by gearbox ratio = FDR

So I will be trying a 21t pinion with my 81t spur. :D

I just found a broken tooth on one of my Ayk Bobcats diff gears , it's just one half broken tooth on one of the plastic sun gears or the gear that is fixed to the out drive .

finally got the bearings i ordered off the back of 1300gt's build inspired by his front gearbox build i started this
