BoLINK HOT Rodz

Post by Dangeruss »

Introduced by BoLINK in 1999 the HOT Rodz came as a coupe, sedan delivery, and a truck, underpinned by the same chassis as the Diggers that preceded them. All three body styles were featured in a characteristically playful full color ad that also included their Digger sibling:

Are you the one that's ripping these pages out of magazines to sell individually on eBay? It's where you're getting them from at least. :)

Anyway, I own the production body mold for the C-Dan (red car) in this line as mentioned before on here. I also own the corresponding car they used for trade shows I was told, and had Steve and Bob Rule sign it. I was originally under the impression I was being sold the car used on the box until realizing the roof of mine isn't painted black. :? Still cool though.

That's cool you own the mold for the C-Dan. Don't think I'd read that before. You owning their trade show car sounds familiar. Might not be the Box Art Car but, it's a cool piece of history most of the guys on here would be tickled to own.

I just remembered that I started a thread on it but have to re-upload the pictures.

I remember seeing the ads for these all the time, never did buy one myself though.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.
