Any Arrma Felony owners?

Post by Steve71 »

Are there any Arrma Felony owners here? Since finishing my custom 1/5 scale monster truck build I have been kicking around the idea of getting a new car. Was actually thinking about building a tube chassis drag car, but the more I thought about it the more I think that would get old real quick without anyone/anywhere to race against all the time. So started looking around to see what might catch my eye and I always thought the Felony was a pretty cool car since it came out. So have been starting to give some serious thought as to purchasing one soon maybe. Just wondered if anyone here owns one and if so how do you like it, seems pretty durable, lots of upgrade able parts to it as well?

I have one and it's pretty incredible. I upped mine to 8S,but it really doesn't need it. I put skid plates on the bottom with titanium screws and it sparks when it hits. It looks cool.

It looks so cool when running. Gets everyone's attention.

Have been seeing a few videos of guys doing 8s with dual escs/motors. Like you said though, I doubt I would do that. Seems like quite a beast right out of the box. From what I have read it's around 60mph with stock gearing or 80mph with high speed gear. So that's more than I would need. The skid plates and titanium screws throwing sparks sounds cool. Looks like they make quite a bit of parts for it. Only thing I wish they had were more bodies. Looks like they just came out with the new Vette body but other than that it's just the stock body. Will for sure have to get a clear stock body and do some of my airbrush work on it.
Really thinking I am leaning towards picking up a brand new one in the next week or so. Found a used one for $450 today, but thinking I may just say screw it and drop the extra $200 and get a new one so I don't get someone else's troubles.
