Re: Where are they now?
Dan had strong opinions but I learned long ago that he was usually right. He was like an encyclopedia of knowledge of vintage RC and I'll miss the entire chapters of text he'd write in his forum posts, there was a lot to learn from him. I don't know what happened but his wealth of knowledge and experience will be missed.
EDIT: Just wanted to add that I'm hoping for a Tamiyadan re-re. They've re-re'd practically everything else...

Re: Where are they now?
Serious bummer for sure. I absolutely loved his story posts and the amount of history/knowledge he could tell was insane. Hope he comes back.Coelacanth wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2019 10:23 am Dan had strong opinions but I learned long ago that he was usually right. Re: Where are they now?
If this is what happened, the edit all the post things with a dot, I'm sorry but this is somewhat childish...
Dan might have been knowledgeable, but c'mon...

Re: Where are they now?
yes, he edited all his posts with a dot as to make sure everyone knew he had a post there. What would it have hurt to just leave well enough alone? there must've been a reason but he is one of the only ones to know of it.
I'd only edit all my posts with just a dot except one and then make Alex look for it

Not from me, mate..... the cards come from an almost mythical place, where NIB kits are nervous.....klavy69 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 10:51 pmwell Alex, I never got a birthday card from you so it'll be graciously accepted to "get a card" from youIncredible_Serious wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 10:41 pm

Re: Where are they now?
It's not just here, he's done the same on at least a couple other message boards that I frequent. It's very unfortunate -- whatever the reason.klavy69 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 10:33 pmyes, he edited all his posts with a dot as to make sure everyone knew he had a post there.
