Tracks around Massachusetts that run Vintage class?

Post by soniccj5 »

Does anyone know of tracks in or around Massachusetts that run a Vintage class? If not vintage what about stock class 27T? My local track(R/C Excitement) only runs modified.

Thanks,

ED

Up in Pembroke, NH Rte106 Racepark ( http://www.106racepark.com/index.php ) has an outdoor track. They have club races, with three 8-week points series from April-October with a couple trophy races. Myself and a couple others usually have something vintage-- mainly Grasshoppers and Hornets-- and will run them as a class occasionally. I raced my Rad2 in with the mod electric trucks this past Saturday. They are an easygoing bunch and if you want to run they will gladly find you a place to, even if your class is not represented. Case in point: last week a 1/16 E-Revo ran with the E-Monsters. That was funny to watch.
There are a couple more weeks of the fall points series on Saturdays and then November 7 is their annual fun race.

If you do find a track that has a regular vintage class, please let me know.

Jamie- where are you located?

Also, the club that runs the track in Pembroke (NEAR- http://www.nearclub.com/ ) is now affiliated with an indoor track up in Canaan, NH. It's near the VT/NH border off Rte 89.

Yeah, it's 80 miles for me, so I've only made it there once this winter. I was just mentioning it. ;)

Maybe if we get enough people to show up at a track they will decide to run a vintage class that day.

Or we can meet up at Jamie's track. I am sure his neighbors would enjoy watching :-)

Every track I've been to will run a class if there are 3-4 entries.
Spring & fall series at 106 (Pembroke) are Saturday noon on; summer is Friday nights.
Canaan is Saturday into mid-April.
Fitchburg, MA races Thursday evening and Sunday.

I wanna know where Jamie's track is!! :D
