How much were those Technacraft wheels back in the day?
You know, I never saw any of their wheels (that I can remember). I was way poor back then, however, so maybe it is selective memory
I can only remember the turnbuckles and a wing of some sort.
Ron Jeremy, I believe a set of Tecnacrafts ranged around $85 back in the day...they also made 1/4 scale wheels, which I would bet were much more expensive.
BTW, did you go by the name "Jeepinator" on RCCA forums a while back?
Great car! I've been looking for the lunsford myself, I probably lost the last set on a Ebay to you :lol: I have a similar build going to yours but in JRXT form. I think you win for the ultimate aftermarket X2 build.
Well guys, I still can't beleive I FINALLY managed to grab a set of those über rare Tecnacraft wheels. They are just awesome and I now better understand why people go crazy when once in a while they appear on evilBay. They will be part of my 4-10...

They say that they are nylon - but sure feel like plastic to me. My question is has anyone tryed to dye these wheels a different color ?? How did they turn out if some one has ??

i am not using the stars but am using losi xx wheels. with the b3 rear axles you should not have any problems in the rear. however the front will take a few more losi parts to work. here is the thread to my build. hopefully the pics and build list...
