New and readily available option. Slip right on. By eye it adds a mm or 2 to rear but actually gives a bit of needed clearance on 5 link cars, also shown on car with RPM arms and hubs. Front appears about identical. I let someone who buys with a...

Oh, awesome! Thanks for the info.! And it is the best car of the era :!:
This thing was a lot rougher than I initially thought. The shells on these are kind of a bitch to get off compared to other cars so I hadn’t seen inside until today. Had to pretty much go thru the entire thing with a fine tooth comb. Cleaned up...

Sorry Todd, I missed that post because I'm so rarely in the Losi forum. I would have taken you up on that. I just ordered some 2.2s that seem like they will work. Then again, I probably have ordered more mis-matched rims and tire sets than most...
I replied to a craigslist ad for a guy wanting to sell off his RC stuff. Mostly Traxxas, some Redcat, nothing really too desirable. Off to the side there was a bin with some tires, and sitting in it was a rough looking touring car. It looked like a...

Touring cars are pretty fun. There's a lot of pavement in the world. That looks like a pretty sweet setup. You can always sell it later....
Thanks!
I always say the same thing - I can sell it later - but strangely, I can't. The only car I've...
A scan of the instruction sheet for the Losi A-3245 one-way diff? I've searched here and couldn't find it, Losi doesn't have it on their website. Figured maybe someone here might have one laying around they could scan or take a pic of for me.
I had this running the other day with a new brushless motor and lipo batterie. Sure was nice. I didn't adjust the slipper clutch and as the pictures will show, I stripped a gear. The chassis battery box holder says Team Losi on it but I can't find...

Wow, thanks for all that. I will probably end up doing as much metal as possible then with those links. I already have the plastic ball bearing gear ordered so I can see how adjusting the slipper calms the wear down. Just have to stick with it and...
I just got back from my first track run, with a freshly rebuilt Rally Weapon. I went with a 4000Kv HobbyWing EZ Run Motor and ESC. With a 27 Tooth Pinion and a 4200 RevTech Shorty Lipo, I got well over 40 minutes of run time with the Cut Off Set to...

I tried doing a full speed pull in my apartment parking lot, but the car ended up rolling. The 4000kv never got hot running at the track for 40 minutes in 93 degree heat.
Here is me playing around the first night. I'm stoked to get a XX4 going now.
Falling down a rabbit hole on fleabay one evening while looking for a Hydra Drive for my RC10 Worlds project runner I stumbled across the wreckage you see below which I was hoping someone might be able to help me ID. Of all the years in the hobby...

Baller status  love it. Well if thing turns out as good as I hope, I may have to start hopping it up.
Speaking of baller, although the chassis didn’t sayyy Graphite...at least it looks Graphite lol
What can you guys tell me about the Junior T & the process of maybe converting it into a buggy? I've got the chance of getting hold of one but would dearly love to own a Losi JRX of some type, they are hard to come by.
Thanks, my first post.

The originals are hard to find, but they are out there. They are 2.1 and 2.0 so tires are hard to find, only a small number of companies make new ones in that size now.
So moving to 2.2 is far easier and cheaper if you are not restoring an...
I won this on ebay last week and it arrived today. To say I am happy would be an understatment! The previous owner only used it a couple of times and even then it was on carpet. The photos don't do it justice, buts its MINT! Even the chassis looks...

just purchased one of my bucket list items a jrxt. Other than the original tires (front a-7500 and a-7600) are there any other tires that are valued amongst collectors?

The tires are easy.. any 2.2” truck tire will work and there’s a bunch out there. The wheels are getting hard to find though. I stick with vintage, so not sure what hex & modern solutions are out there.
I love my XX Kinwald Trinity buggy so much I really wanted to build another. I'm planning to build this up into a high end runner with real performance potential, and modern electronics. I am also considering using some parts from the current 22...

Looks great as always. Pretty sure you have bought every and all remaining blue trinity item known to man…..keep the great builds coming!!
I came across this truck for a ridiculously low price and could not pass it up. It is obviously a Losi but being into Associated in the past, I have no idea what it is. I have searched the web briefly but did not find anything that matched exactly....

For a body Team Blue Groove on ebay. They make replica Ranger and Original style bodies, I've gotten a few bodies from them and they are good quality
Also, if you do need parts let me know, I have a ton.
The full extent of my Losi knowledge is that I currently possess a Losi Mini Desert Racer and a Losi XXXT. That is it! I know nothing of how they are built, how they have survived, how they drive, etc etc etc.
To take that...

Is anyone familiar with the Thorp Dirt Burners 64 pitch Diff conversion? I've got one and the spacer on the shaft is too long and it won't let me close the trans case. It also protrudes past the idler gear. I've attached some pics against the...

Having trouble finding a ball bearing kit for the XXT... seems like everyone has XXX / XXX T kits, are these compatible? Thanks!

Having both XX and XXX trucks, I can confirm that the bearing kits are the same. A full kit will have 18 bearings. That will include the steering. If you need bearings for the Hydro Drive or ball diff, they are the same as front buggy (xx/xxx). Fast...
I think I have a touch of OCD.

The XXX stuff just doesn't have the same cool vintage vibe, apart from the Kinwald cars.
Buy some now, prices are only going up!
I agree. The XXX stuff only reminds me of how good the XX days were. I finished collecting each XX 90s Losi, and now...
I just finished tearing down a JrxT I recently purchased. It is mostly there.
The shock clamps were cracked so I made 3d printed ones for now.
It didn't have wheels. I could use some help finding rear wheels. I have a set of white disk wheels...
On my JRXT I was looking to put on a set of plastic chrome wheels. Does anyone have any recommendation as to which brand and model. I saw some Orion wheels and tire sets on eBay but was wondering if anyone has any recommendation for just wheels?
I started collecting XXT kits and parts for my Shelf Queen, and found myself with 5 complete XXTs after a year of doing so. I decided to build a Super XXT with all modern electrics, and the best of 90s parts.

Thanks for the update on the pin durability. I'm very interested to try this out on some of my vintage buggies. Problem is, I'm not sure where to find round X-section trimmer line. Everything I find locally is always some other shape with corners...
Hello All, I was wondering if someone could tell me what screw pitch/size Losi cars and buggies use? I know Kyosho's use m3 screws with a .05 pitch. My Kyosho m3 and m4 screws won't thread in.

Hi,

This is a very clean JRX Pro I recently found. I was surprised by how nice it was. Everything should clean up to like new condition.
I want to do something a little different with the chassis by narrowing the sides to the same width as the SE. This...

There's a vintage Team Losi sticker that has a pink pinstripe and I think a white tire or circle as the background. That would look great on the bottom of the chassis, proportionally scaled up to fit the size of the chassis.
So I wanted to save this project for a little later but some of my other projects have hit a dead end waiting on parts so here I go. After I completed my all turn buckle 5 link runner I noticed how good the 5 link suspension is on a rough dirt track...

Thank you for the suggestion! I think I know someone with a jrx pro so I can see how that would work.
May be a noob question, as i admit, i'm not a Losi expert :D
Does a original JRX2 always has a 5link rear suspension? Or has there been a running change in production? I always wonder why so many JRX2 have the H-arms instead. Seems that 7 of 10...

Losi had 48 pitch gears standard. You could get 64 pitch spur, which is finer. The junior 2 came with 32 pitch spur gear.

A Trinity X-Star was advertised in 98' But I feel like a Midnight or Green Machine series is also within the time range of the XX4. As far as modifieds, there's Speed Gems, and of course the D2 or D3. The trick is finding one in good shape, I've...
