Finally, after 1 week of waiting my order on RC10 parts had arrived. There, I was surprised why the big carton box!?

Getting stuff to the UK from Tower can be hit and miss regarding customs. If the parts are small enough to go in a jiffy bag it will usually sail through, especially if the packer is kind enough to mark it as commercial sample :D If your parts have...
ya know when some tires wil just NOT get onto the rims?? Just too hard to stretch em on?? Boil a pan with water and drop one in.. Wait a minute and take it put.... BE VERY CAREFUL. The tire will be very hot.. Make sure the water is drained from...

Needing Shock Oil , mostly for T3s and other AE (MGT, DS, yada, yada), but also own Traxxas (Rustlers, Street Sports, REVO). So, what do we get? Can one be used in place of the other, and maybe not be vice versa?
I know its not a vintage question,...

There isn't a fluid on earth that doesn't change viscosity with temperature change.
I figured I would show the mess as it is right now during all these builds I am completing. How many RC10s can you count? The stock JRX2 build is the one lower right sitting on the box, hope to have that one done tomorrow.
Have a safe night, the...

Im sure the dementions will depend on this or that. The only thing I know is we will mostly be running 1/8 and 1/10 whatever . Maybe just tell me about the largest and smallest youve been to and which you like for running what. Heck, whatever you...
Donno if anyone has found this stuff yet, but Steve Rule popped back up on eBay under a new username and is clearing out a lot of his old stock at really cheap prices. I'm aiming in on that Firebird Latemodel with Bob's name on the window, but I got...

I have to refurbish some of my alloy wheels and also ream out the rear wheel's axle hole to a slightly larger diameter.

Hi guys,
Thanks a lot for your kind advice on wheel polishing. I am sorry I hadn't replied before but I had a super hectic but fun weekend. I will let you know how it goes when I get a chance to try it out.
Hi guys,
I've found this really cool vintage body here in Japan.
It's called 'cyclone' and it's an aftermarket body for the Tamiya Boomerang.
I can't find anything on the web on this brand Volks .
Did anyone ever come accross another model by these...
Anyone remember these?
I don't throw much away, which is good and bad...
But sometimes I find some interesting things because of it. Like these things:
After finally remembering what they are called, I googled them and found this auction .

For me it is mostly favorable memories and the fun of finding vintage stuff in good shape.
...But the new stuff is just as interesting to me. The engineering and quality of the new kits is amazing. My Losi MF2, for example, is the finest piece of RC...

Anyone remember Jeepinator(sp?) from the RCCA forums? He was a huge ae fan, and I still remember him buying the first production graphite RC10, and he had many other sweet RC10's. Man I was jealous of him. And Im also jealous of many on these...

I think you can find info about his RC10 Graphite HERE .
The JRX2 post got me thinking about this...... I would like your opinions on this one. I think that there is no doubt that a repo would be defined as a body made from a reproduction mold which came from an existing body.
But, what would you guys...

I agree with Melvins Army on this one. To elaborate,I think Re-release relates to exact tooling used previously by an OEM or tooling that is made again by the original OEM to the pre-existing specifications. 8)
My brother is in line to buy that TT truck. He's wanted a REALISTIC race truck since his first Subaru Brat donned a McAllister Toyota body (that I painted with Testors model paint by hand).
It's a pretty cool piece. I'd love to see 8-10 of those in...

Is there a RC10talk logo other than the hazard logo that I can use for a link to this forum? This will go one of my personal websites. If not, I will use the one that is listed and improvise on the text. Thanks!

WOW, did you guys see the end of Alex's MIP conversion auction. That's just plain nuts. If my memory serves me right, he bought that on a BIN for $350.00.... did not touch it for like a year and a half, then it pushes $1000. WOW. I need to offer one...

Yeah, I think most guys who were in the know knew that Strauss' book was garbage. He didn't acknowledge the orange McLaren, even after I showed it to him. By my calculation, there were 12-15 of those around.
I have a couple of new and uncut original Premier/Twister dirt oval wedge bodies, and after searching for more of the last 7 years or so, I haven't had much luck acquiring more. I have a feeling that the supply of NOS bodies out there is drying up....
