i always like the speedworks line. i had a few of those motors back in the day. my favorite was the pole position motor.

keyence was an ausome speed control back in the day. i actually have 2 of those left. one stopped working and the other was brand new from keyence. i sent it in for repair and they sent me another one.

Also: what is the purpose of the felt between the motor plate and the trans case? To keep dust out of the top shaft bearing? That's the only logical thing I could think of... yes, to keep dirt out of the transmission. they came in felt in the kits and some company who slips my mind currently made ne...

i would get lundsford. they are still in production. those to me appear to be traxxas and i dont think there even titanium. lundsford comes in packages of 2 or if you can find a complete set that would be great.

they are called brush heat sinks and i believe trinity had them and it also made it fairly easy to remove the brush hoods when you had to cut the comms in the can.

thats hard to say what kind of motor that is. its a modified motor and depends on what the windings are on the armature.

i use these on my t2 truck. they have zero degrees of toe in. they also make a 1 degree too.

A good wire brush works good for cleaning out the gears too. i do that every time i clean the transmission and i also use it for cleaning the spur and pinion gears when they get dirt in the gears.

team associated down stop kit is all i ever used for shimming between the transmission case and the motor plate.
