VXL in RC10

VXL in RC10

What do you guys think of this setup with the original tranny? The only reason I want to go VXL is because it is about 75 bucks cheaper than other BL systems. Also, I think it is a decent system.

i am new in the hobby, so i can't really give you any advice. what i can say is i put a Novak Havoc Sport in a B2 with 2s Lipo and it was over kill. had to dial back on the throttle, so i just put the Trinity 17T back in it.

I have 2 VXL systems and can't complain about them. A 2 cell 4000mah is more than enuf for overkill on the rc10 but hey...if you want to break parts put a 3cell in it :wink: .

One question though is what do you mean by 'original' tranny? I don't have any prolonged experience with the 'original 6 gears' but do use the stealth with just about anything with no problems.
