That is a losi part, A-3024 low friction gears. I'm not sure what is low friction about them exactly, but they may be a different material than the standard gears.
In the pic below the bottom loose gear is fresh out of the package. the upper one is a standard output gear. The low friction gears are darker in color. I do not have a standard set of gears to compare all of them side by side, so other than the differences in the output gears I'm not sure if the other pieces have differences.

These seem similar to the low friction white telescoping half shafts. Not sure, but assuming for the moment they are plastic, probably molded with a Delrin based or derived material. Delrin tends to have low friction properties to begin with. Some grades have PTFE added, generally known as Teflon. For a gear it would have to be a stiffer version of Delrin, the basic material is fairly pliable. I’m almost positive that the white sliders are made from a Delrin based material.
This is a fairly common material in the RC industry, the X Factory guys have mentioned it when discussing prototypes for example. Also used in 1 scale cars, sealed non greased ball joints, tie rods and such typically have inserts made with this stuff. I’ve used it in such applications.
Probably one of the first experiences with Delrin for many of us are the same, it was used for a few years for the wheels on Hot Wheels cars.

Don't forget that Thorp/Dirt Burners released the same gears. It could be Thorp.
