Are RPM Parts period correct for the 10T?

Post by MONSTER »

Im having a little trouble corraling some Stock White Arms for my 10T Resto, and getting quite impatient. Were the RPM Arms available when the 10T was in production?

But were they available when the 10T was in production? How long after the 10T came about, did RPM start offering them?

Im trying (desperately) to make a "period correct" Example. Im only "considering the RPM option. I would REALLY like to have Stock Arms, but cant seem to come up with any, even with the NICE stuff I have listed in BST.

Yes, the white RPM 10T arms came out in 1991 just like the truck. There are two different version of the truck front arms though...

Are you looking for new 10T arms?? or can they be used??

I have some original 10T arms, the white ones, I can post pics if you want to see them.

They're used though.

GREAT!! :x Can you tell/show me the differences, and maybe what I should be looking for? This is the Original Thread of what I started with, http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=3219 . Only diff now, is the 3-Piece Wheels (Wide Fronts), White Stealth, White Rear Carriers, and White Batt Box have been added, not much else.

Used wont bother me at all, as long as they arent all beat up. Pics would be nice, here or in PM.

I'll post pics of the white 10T stuff that I have and then we can work something out.

My 10T is a racer, so I don't care too much about having the Blue RPM stuff, acutally I prefer the blue stuff

I'll keep you posted.

The first RPM arms had only one shock mounting hole, later had two...

Here are the white parts that I have, I washed the arms with regular dish soap and upon closer inspection, these arms are nearly flawless, they only have a little bit of a scratch on the lowest most point of the arms. Everything else is like new.
