Hi guys, any one of you tried using the GT rear bulkhead on a gold tub? Does the holes for the screws align or drilling of new holes is necessary?

Ok i see...so i presume that there's no way drilling two new holes to get it mounted?

the tranny brace isnt even, the bulkhead sits too low. the holes for mounting on bottom are just slightly off too, its not like you could drill a new hole either, you would need to widen the 2 bottom holes. its a good idea but just didnt work out for me at all.

Now I understand fully...How about widening the holes inward and fill the original holes with metal putty? As for the tranny brace, you can use alum spacer to lift it up to the exact tranny height. I think I need to get 1 bulkhead to start working on. Any other possible unforseen problems which I may face?

another issue would be not being able to screw the bulkhead to the sides of the tub, and there's no pocket on the gt bulkhead to secure the back of the battery pack.

Mmmm...i wonder if its that important? Of course you'll feel more secure with the two screws but I have a gold tub which had been drilled for weight lightening and the two part milled off by the previous racer. What do you think?
