Open Wheel Bodies from the East?

Post by mrlexan »

Can anyone from the East side of the planet offer some info? I ran across a sticker sheet from jr-rc (Jason Reid) that has a number of various IRL (Indy) sponsor logos on it. I seem to remember seeing a Japanese site that was centered on IRL/Open Wheel Racing, can't find it anymore. Is there a manufacturer in Japan that is offering IRL bodies? I would love to find a couple for the decal set.

Erik? Tak? Anyone?

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Jay

The Open Wheel Car Club is probably the website, http://www.d-drivesports.com/

http://www.chevronmodels.com/ do the best detail parts, but the best range of historic F1 and an Indy body have a look at Cross http://www.rc-cross.com/page/F1%20GT_body_body.html, be aware the Indy chassis is a longer wheelbase than the F1s, just like the Tamiya indycars were.

Jay,

I can't help you with the bodies but the decals are impressive and made by a company called AMS. The Tobacco decals are brilliant. Rainbow Ten list quite a few!
