The Complete Dahm's Racing Bodies Thread

Dahm’s Racing Bodies, started in February 1988 by Ira Dahm, produced more than a hundred unique bodies, with many available in both lightweight .030 and heavyweight .040 Lexan versions. Dahm’s would also offer one, two, and three color painted bodies as well as fully custom painting for his bodies as well as any other brand. From May 1988 until March 2001 Dahm’s black and white ads graced nearly every copy of Radio Control Car Action Magazine in both partial and full page sizes. From July thru Aug. of 1989 the company would move an hour and a half north, from Cupertino to Cotati California. And when the world went online so did Dahm’s, starting with a page at btown.com in Oct. 1996 before launching dahms-intl.com in Dec. 1997. Having produced some of the most polarizing and competitive bodies in the industry and a wide range of RC parts and accessories over the course of 16 years Ira retired and closed Dahm’s Racing Bodies in November 2004.

Featured here are the part numbers, photos, fitments, and year of release for every one of the 128 Dahm’s Racing body ever made. Bodies are categorized then listed numerically by part number, each as its own post for easier linking.

Note that Ira changed years, fitments, photographs and part numbers to meet demands. As such, models from different years may share the same part number, different widths may share the same photographs, and any one body style may have additional part numbers depending on what was included with the body over time. Ad typos with incorrect part number to body attributions have been corrected.
