I came across this really cool Epic endbell and felt like it deserved to have a can and armature to go with it. The armature I selected is a 12 turn quad with welded tabs. I think it might be a Peak Performance armature, because it came from a former sponsored racer that has been a great source of motors and parts. Regardless, it was in need of a couple of skim passes to clean it up.

After that, it was time for assembly. I have a nice, no label can and a nice, unused original Trinity Experimental label. This clearly isn't a Trinity Ex motor, but it feels experimental. So together they go.

On a 2s battery, it measures at a smooth spinning 54,000 RPMs. That's a good little random parts frankenmotor.

That’s a sweet little frankencan. Respectable top end there would make just about any decent tenth scale go certifiably quick as well. Hey do those Epic Al heatsink end bells utilize oval brushes? Never seen one in meatspace. Nice work

It is an oval brush endbell. They are such strange brushes.
