Vicfor Concept 1
Is this a Vicfor Concept 1? It looks like the t-bar is not original but I believe I have the original parts. Scooped this in a lot with a RC10T2 today. I could not find much information about it except it was designed by Arturo Carbonell back in the late 80’s?

Re: Vicfor Concept 1
I've never heard of Vicfor. The front end suspension/steering parts look like Associated. The motor pod T-plate also looks familia, maybe TRC or Bolink style? What is the motor in there? I don't recognize the label.

Re: Vicfor Concept 1
I’ll take a look at the motor tomorrow. Check out the link below. If you scroll down a bit it turns to English. I’m sure the original parts are somewhere in the boxes of parts that came with it

Re: Vicfor Concept 1
Parts of it are a Concept 1...but parts of it aren't. Chassis plates and hubs are correct, but the Vicfor car didn't use AE front blocks, rear bulkheads, or t-bar pivots. That shock setup isn't typical either.

Re: Vicfor Concept 1
Wow, an old thread came back to live.
It is a hacked Vicfor. Phin is correct, some parts are Vicfor and some others not.
Vicfor is not really well known and hard to find anything.
At some point I found an original car, but with a broken rear axle.
I got in contact with Arturo and he told me he had lots of parts left at the basement.
But unfortunately I never got reply afterwards.
So my Vicfor car is still unfixed somewhere in storage.
But it is a reminder for me to grab and work on the car.
OK, back to the original Vicfor car.
Indeed no Associated front end was used, but a beam type front end similar to Delta or the Composite Craft Lynx II.
If you know the original front end, it is easy to identify because it was looking different to others. It was their own design.
The damper setup for the rear was completly different from those pictures.
Same for the pivots as Phin mentioned.
I think Arturo really liked the design of the Delta Super Phaser, because the Vicfor car works quite similar.

Re: Vicfor Concept 1
Awesome thanks for the response! If you look in that link I posted before, I see one photo of a vicfor with an associated front end. I have no idea where those photos are from. But it seems like pan cars always end up as a mismatched machine! I might have the original suspension components

Re: Vicfor Concept 1
If you show the parts, maybe we can sort out.
Btw the bulkheads at your car look like Litespeed for the right side and Associated for the left.
I just wonder why someone exchanged the original ones.
