I ran the hell out of the Ghettoday buggy until the wheels came off literally as it was my fun car I like to bash and pop wheelies with but when the esc burnt out from running thru puddles it was put in the basement for about 2 years now so I decided it was time to fix it up today. I replaced all of the broken parts, swapped out the esc, polished up the scratches, changed all the bearings, and gave it some new shoes. It's my least favorite car, but I like the way it turned out, so I gave it a spot on the tamiya corner wall.

Saw this on eBay:

Looks a lot like a Holiday Buggy but with toy grade RTR electronics ? Never knew it existed , pretty cheap , shame the chassis is not identical as it's not broken :cry:

Anyone know what the name of the company was that made the knock off of the Tamiya Holiday Buggy back in the day? It had a black body shell vs. the blue shell and its own kind of electrics but everthing else was a spot on match. A friend was asking...

I think the appeal to the copy would be very similar to the appear of the Tamiya Holiday Buggy , what the kid really wanted was a Rough Rider but that's mucho expensive so the parent gets the Holiday buggy , if the kid accepts the Rough Rider is off...
