The battery options are interesting. Sub C NiCd is heavy, but an SCR pack can put out a lot of voltage when at peak charge. Presumably 2S lipo would still be the preferred choice. If only this wasn't so far away.

I think the 17 turn brushed motor rule is kinda cool, it would definitely make things interesting. Will everyone bring their motor lathes to the track like the old days.
I was old school - when old school wasn't cool !
