They are made from nylon..so yes, they can be dyed.

Hello all! After being out of the hobby since the early 90’s I just recently got back in…got tired of paying $50-75 for the junk cars at Walmart and my boys destroying them in a couple of weeks so I bit the bullet…all 5 of my boys got 1/10 hobby...
