My eyes combed every page of R/C Car Action Magazine. Devouring each word with voracious enthusiasm. I stood ambitiously in front of the glass counter of our local hobby shop gazing up at all the new racing machines, knowing with absolute certainty, the specification of every one. I am 12. Nine letters later familiar names have been replaced with new faces. Companies and products evolved. Times changed. But I pick up a wrench, turn a wheel nut... and I am 12 again.
