I like the one fighting for 5th place running over the other buggy. That's my kind of finesse racing. 😁

Good eye, that paint scheme definitely looks like his, an old Lazer ZX-R?

After some research I thought perhaps it could have been Pete Stevens who ran Kyosho BITD but still not sure. Was this a picture of a qualifying race in the Philippines around 1989?
I come for the RC10's but stay for the Yokomo's :P

Japanese Championships featured in mags in Oct 1990.
