Bulk axle shims

Hey guys! I asked on the FB group but I didn't really get an answer. I'm in need of the standard 3/16 x .01 shims that are used for axle spacing. I see Amain has a 20 pack for $6 which isn't crazy, I guess. I thought McMaster might have a 50 or 100 pack. When I look for shims there, they have a set of 5 for ~$9.50. I must be looking at the wrong thing. I mean, you can get a pack of #8 washers for cheap, but will these work as well?

Shims are one thing I have not been able to find cheaply. That price from Amain is pretty good.

Custom works has a mixed size set of shims.

at $4 it's not to bad for shims.
