Hey all,
I'm looking for a slipper eliminator for my 2.25 with a b4 stop shaft.
I know the b4 top shaft was used through the b6 but I am still having a hard time knowing what will work

I saw this part Part# CSW4465
https://www.amainhobbies.com/custom-works-direct-mount-spur-hub-csw4465/p-qtartauqbz2xactz

But will the current b6.2 parts work, or has the top shaft changed enough that it's not applicable any more

Exotek B6.1/B6.1D Direct Spur Gear Mount Slipper Eliminator (Stock Top Shaft)

would either work? what spurs would work?

I'm sure the B6 parts wont fit, but from memory exotek did make a slipper eliminator for the B4 series. Ebay will probably be your best bet since most things for the B4 are discontinued now.

That is the right call. I'll Just ordered the exotek 1942.
They have it in stock on their website with a $2.5 shipping fee.

What makes you sure the b6 parts don't work? I'm trying to understand what is changing across the lines. There appears to be a change from b/t 6 to b/t6.1. From the pictures it looks like its pin based again like the v1.

RC10B6.1 FT Vented Slipper Hub, outer
This part fits the following vehicles:

RC10B6.1
RC10B6.1D

RC10B6.3D
RC10SC6.1
RC10SC6.2

From what I've seen the same v2 slipper plates work on the b5 and b6D that work on the b4

Pretty sure there's a difference between the b6 and b6.1 topshaft. Anything b6.1 and newer will not work.

Put the standard 2.25 top shaft back in it and get a hub from Dynotech.

For this build I'm keeping the b4 style top shaft. I had the CW eliminator and that would have been fine with the v1.

Use that blue 2.6 trans one from custom works. You need some kind of spring/spacer/nut setup

I can make you a fixed slipper with a classic top shaft and slipper unit if you’re interested.

I’ll trade you for the b4 top shaft.

Since you are not using a slipper anyway.

I think that he has an Avid aluminum shaft that he is wanting to use, not just simply remove the slipper.
