Years ago I picked up one blue shock body - somehow, somewhere
on seeing the color schemed posts on this forum, I got inspired to add some blue to my son's buggy -- wel, you know how that goes... -everything blue!
Anyway one of these past late nights, I got to Ebaying blue Associated shocks and spent too much $$ on odds & ends to make 2 sets with blue bodies & caps.
In this bleary-eyed quest, the question kept arising, admittingly, I haven't searched too hard, but what models did they come on? It seems the 10T was the receiver of most of them, but what years, what lengths?
Were there other models & their versions that got them?
Were the RC10 buggy front shock length ever made in blue?
blue shocks - when & where?

Re: blue shocks - when & where?
Blue shocks would have been on the RTR models mainly. The GT with the blue chassis, the b4 and T4 sport kits are the main ones that come to mind. I suspect the SC10 and other variants would have had them as well. They were basically a continuation of the gold shocks, where the better team shocks were the hard anodized greenish gray color.
I don’t recall the .71 body ever being sold in blue. You could get the slightly longer .89 shocks off the B4 and run the longer shock tower up front.

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: blue shocks - when & where?
Thank you for some clarification.
Cool. I searched high & low for a .71 blue shock refrence - i was thinking the same thing - an easy mod.
