I have not, but the only thing I can think of is do they react to the paint and shrink or bubble? and you'd wanna make sure they are down really good especially in any contours cuz of the potential for bleeding under with the paint. I've only applied reverse cut vinyl graphics on glass. We did "wet" installs with super dilute soapy water or a water/isopropyl alcohol mix. You can float them on and then press them down/squeegee almost all of the application fluid out from under them. Essentially like applying water slip decals. In this case, if the are water slip, depending on the size and delicateness if them, some light pressure using a Q-tip from the center out might yield favorable results.

I have used the MCI reverse decals and they work great, of course surface has to be clean and if you get any air bubbles they will show big time if you use dark colors even if painted bright or light colors you can see the bubbles slightly.
But If done correctly they look great and custom. No reaction to Tamiya paint not sure on others.

Thank you for the input. I purchased the decals and an extra body if it does not work out. I will keep you posted.
Thanks
