creszenzi brake for gt
i have one of these brake kits. it uses a piece of cloth on a band of mtal much like a drum brake. anyway, does anyone think it will be worth money someday? should i sell it, hold on to it?
20 min later...
well since i already have it and everything ill just keep it but your input on this rare piece is still appreciated. =]
edit cloth i meant leather.

it is hard to find as he stopped making them. It may be worth something n the future to someone trying to recreate their race truck. It is also worth a reasonable amount at the moment as there are still many racers running the GT and the brake was a popular mod. He has made some limited batches which have sold out on ebay rather quickly.

Re: creszenzi brake for gt
best damn hopup ever made for the gt imho.
couldnt hurt to hold onto it for awhile. if the original gt's ever get popular with the collectors it'll for sure be a pretty rare and neat little bit to have.

If its what I think it is, I have a MINT one with a LEATHER Strap. Its in one of my threads here. I know someone at the time of posting said it was a nice piece. What was the "standard" for them, Cloth or Leather? Would Leather be more "desireable" than Cloth?

Yeah, this mod beats the stock disk hands down.
He stopped making them about a year and a half ago. Ever since the GT2 came out.
I wish they would make one for it, I'd buy one. Maybe 2.

Re: creszenzi brake for gt
Yup, definitely the best brake ever for the GT. Possibly the best mod ever, but his steering kit is a strong contender for that title as well. As far as I know all of them had leather straps. I would say keep it and buy more if you ever find them for sale. That's what I'm doing.
