Could use your guys help with how I should gear my truck now that I went brushless.

Motor: Turnigy Trackstar Outlaw 13.5T (2886KV)
Trans: Stock stealth with the B4 Slipper mod
Tires: HPI Yokohama Geolandar (4.05" diameter)

Some initial research has told me that I want to keep my FDR and the tire roll-out as close as possible. Playing around with this calculator: http://www.rcuniverse.com/community/gearwizard.cfm it looks like running a 88T spur and 17T pinion will get me pretty close to 1:1 with the tires that I'm using. Can anyone confirm this? How would this work with my motor? Thanks in advance for your help!

based on the T4.2 manual for a 13.5 brushless motor and maintaining the FDR from a 2.6 ratio to a 2.25 ratio trans, a 17/87 pinion/spur is a good starting point (do they make an 88t spur?)

Joe is on the money with 17/87. Normally since the tire size is the same between all stadium trucks (within reason) the ratio is all you need to be concerned about.

84 ÷ 19 × 2.60 = 11.49 (T4.2)
87 ÷ 17 × 2.25 = 11.51 (RC10T)
