Couple 4wd projects to work on

Post by mikea96 »

Picked up a few nice 4wd projects recently. Just waiting on some more parts to start.

Nice! I did a few optima and optima mid projects last year for the first time. Very cool cars. I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with the mids, but the original Optima is one of my all time favorite 4wd buggy platforms.

Cool. I'm converting a Mid runner to LWB at the moment using one of Jeff's kits. Just fitting the body and undertray now. Main chassis will require slight mods at the back to fit the TBG undertray. No big deal.
Did you ever make contact with Marwan?

Awesome!
I've also recently bought a TOMS body and decal set but they came from TBG/MCI. I would rather have gotten them from Marwan but was concerned about shipping time. The parts from Canada came in less than three weeks. I guess you're going boxart as well? Why not.
