Losi XXX-T MF2 NIB Built
I know this falls in the grey area of old school. It is a XXX-T Matt Francis 2 truck. It came out in late 2004. I actually bought and built this truck back then, and never ran it. I sold it about a year or so later, and have always regretted it.
I was fortunate enough to find another one BNIB last year. I built it up to be a shelf queen. I have always loved this version of the truck. It comes stock with nearly all the upgrades you would want. All graphite parts, Ti Nitride pins, and an improved transmission. Despite this, I added a few additional upgrades to this build. I added a Losi aluminum front bulkhead, Losi anodized aluminum rear drives, and all SS hardware.
The MF2 comes stock with yellow wheels, however I love the look of the red wheels that come with the MF1 version. I have added the red wheels to this build. I also dyed the stock white ball cups, foam things, and drive joints black, for a stealthy clean look.
I added some high end semi vintage correct electronics. Novak GTX esc, Orion Revolution motor, JR servo, and JR synthesized receiver. This thing would still rip even today.
Finding a new MF2 body is pretty difficult. I want to keep this one clear until I find another.

I added some vintage batteries. I have also changed the wheels over to the stock Yellow versions. I still need to get a picture of that. I also need to get the body painted as well.

Nice truck! I can't decide whether the red or yellow wheels look better though...red screams more 'MF' series...

Re: Losi XXX-T MF2 NIB Build
I recently found old pictures from my original MF2. These were taken back in ~2004/2005. Not exactly high end electronics, lol. I never even ran the truck, and sold it soon after.
I painted the body to match the one in Xtreme RC Magazine's review. I did a pretty good job for rattle cans. I couldn't do that well today. I have grown to absolutely hate painting with spray paint, and I do not have an airbrush setup anymore.
The outside photo shows my HPI Savage SS, and NTC3. The last photo is a shot from the magazine review.

Re: Losi XXX-T MF2 NIB Build
Not yet. I did find a nice repop body for it, so I don't have any excuse. I have a bunch of bodies that I need to have painted.

I'm also in need of a MF2 body, for my rebuilt chassis. Looking like TBG is the only option.

A few updated pictures with added red Trinity shock collars and bushings, plus a few other details.
