Wider front wheels needed for tarmac - suggestions?

Post by tobyd »

Hi there,
Just bought an old RC10 Worlds Car which has been modified and goes like stink. Unfortunately
the turning part of the car is very poor on tarmac with major understeer. I thought I'd
put some wider front wheels and tyres on the car. I like a spoked wheel - any suggestions?
Thanks Tobyd

hey, welcome to site. off the top of my head, i can't think of any wider wheel/tire combo that's readily available. i would try putting 30 degree castor blocks up front, and 0 degree rear a-arm mounts and hub carriers on the back. that should help plant the front a little better, and free the back up. the other thing would be to just play around with different weight shock oil and springs.

you could also try to find some proline striker street tread tires.
