For anyone whom wants to attempt it:
B4.2 carriers & knuckles (with hex, axles, bearings, etc)
Losi XXXT (confirming model) rear hubs, using the 'inner' hinge pin hole
B4.2 CVAs & hexes (or just B4 CVDs like I have here)
Drill the front carriers for 1/8" hinge pin
Shim rear carriers for near zero side to side play
Releive the brace on the rear arm (for CVD/CVA clearance as needed for droop)
Width to a standard B3
Width to a B5 rear motor

Rear width shots dont show it, but it matches both the stock B3 and B5.
Rear carriers:

Why did you use the Losi XXXT rear hubs?
I've used RPM rear hubs (the ones with large bearings) and that seems to work fine. No droop issues either.

The car came to me with these hubs. Which RPM hubs did you use? Keep in mind, these hubs move the axle out to use B4 CVDs, which are longer than B3 units.

I used the replacement RPM b4 hubs (RPM70172). They are the same as b4.2 hubs and use lager bearings. Your correct: it pushes the wheel out so you have to use b4 CVD's.

Bringing this back up top, as I was asked about it
Should work on the B2 as well.

That would require b3 rear arms though, right? Otherwise it seems that the CVA/CVD might be too long

Good point, had not thought about the B2 arms being shorter, probably front & rear honestly. This may not work on a B2

yeah, b3 rear arms at a minimum, depending on the bone engagement. B2 front arms just makes it slightly narrow, b3 ones are obviously wider.
BTW the difference is about 1/8" per side.

Can make up the front width difference with a wider hex (SC10.2). Rear, not so much...
