Shodog Jr. High Lift Hilux

Post by shodog »

Last night my son and I were up late putting some finishing touches on a high lift Hilux. This was a truck I got in a large RC buy from a tamiya club member. He had been salavating over it the past few months and since I already have too damn many cars any way I decided give it to him for his 20th birthday. In stock form I feel the truck looks too lifted so we modified the suspension to sit lower to give it a more realistic look.

Are you looking to adopt? He should really be proud of it and I like the color choices as well. The fares really compliment the stance of it. Glad you lowered it, as I agree they are too tall in stock form. Nice Work you two!! 8)

Cool truck. The kid should have some fun with it.

It looks so much better with the "lift blocks" removed. It's motivating me to revisit my 8 year old Hilux project. Recently I bought a set of bead lock wheels from China eBay and a set G made tires.
