hi I am awaiting my first rc10, its a rc10b3 which needs new tyres, would these be the standard 2.2" size? I appreciate that the offset of the newer wheels is different but am unsure about the actual rubber.

Yep, should be 2.2". These rims

are a direct replacement. Just slightly narrower than a B4 rim, so you get a rounder tire profile.
