About the only things I can think of to upgrade a zx-rr would be some gpm alloy parts, like shock towers, suspension block pivots. Cross might also have had some alloy parts for lazer or the touring cars. ZX-RR was such high spec already that im not sure any aftermarket parts would be much of an upgrade.
Does the RR have a 6 or 7 cell chassis? If 7 cell slots,, then I know a guy who makes lipo trays to fit, plus some other lazer specific flat carbon parts,, but not RR specific....

Well fyi oople web site in the vintage section has a lot of info to help you. Much more than here.
Not much really needed, teamline front hubs, i used 7.5 degrees but some liked 5 degrees. I didnt like the rr steering plate so used a zx one, lunsford titanium tie rods, alloy rear top deck mount and that was basically it.
Fibrelyte have almost all varieties of towers, chassis etc etc on file so can get easily.
If running it you will need a rear and front belt tensioner, plus would advise upgrading the layshaft to the VTS slipper clutch which Alcyon machines and I have tested and proven this design works and beats newer cars.

Post pictures of the RR. I would like to see one. Did somebody make a finned motor plate for the RR?

Teamline and a few other companies made alloy parts, however in todays racing using brushless it makes more sense doing the rear top deck mount out of alloy as the heat disapates through the motor plate into that. Works well with me and my 4.5

Makes sense. Who makes the rear top deck mount in alloy?

Can you give me the details for the guy that makes the Lippo trays? I have a lazer zx I’m in the middle of restoring but I intend to use a brushless motor and Lippo power. Also any other hop ups for a zx and links to the places I can buy them would be great.
Thanks
