I was thinking of fitting the pulley to the stealth, and was wondering how you guys did it.

Did you drill a hole in the center, grind down the protruding part and fit a big ball bearing in there? If so, what size of BB did you use? I suck at measuring things in other than metrics

that's the re-re case, which makes things much more difficult. it is better to use the US case (6565?) which already fits the bearing if you can find it.

I don't think you have a choice. Pretty sure you have to use the 6565 case.

Yeah, that's the one you'll need. Check Associated's site, I would think they should still be in stock.

Looks like we're finally there! I ran a couple packs through the car tonight with no failures. Even with some really hard landings on the front end and a number of pretty good crashes. I was really able to get a feel for the car and flet like i was getting pretty good lap times. On-power steering could be a little better, but i believe that was because the front tires I'm running are old and a bit hard. Actually they are very old and very hard, lol. Next time i have it out I'll try it with some fresh tires and i think that will make huge difference. Even with poor front traction the car was pretty fast and fairly easy to drive. I think with better tires and a little tuning its going to be a pretty awesome handling/driving car. It was really fun to drive though, that's for sure! One nice thing is being able to jam on the breaks and not have the car swap ends like it did as a RWD car. It's much more forgiving than a RWD RC10.

Anyway, enough of my yammering. I will be releasing the parts for sale on my Shapeways store in the next day or two, keep your eyes peeled for an announcement.

Here's the Ten4 prototype next to my b44.3, they have the exact same wheelbase (within like 1mm anyway). The front of the Ten4 is .40" (10mm) narrower than the b44. Obviously the back of the Ten4 is just what ever an RC10 is. I have some of Fred's extended rear arms, i may throw those on there at some point to see how it does. I also eventually want to release some different options for the front suspension for the kickup and caster angles.

I really felt like the main thing holding the car back was the old, hard front tires. I will put the dirt webs off my 44.3 on it next week and see how it goes. I may even put my transponder in it so i can compare my lap times with my b44 times. I can tell you though, later in the evening i was on the track with some other good drivers with fast cars and i was doing respectable with the old gal. I cant wait to get her dialed in.
