Hacker Alert

Post by Halgar »

Found out today that Flash Player has been hacked. DO NOT watch any online flash movies (.flv), which is basically all videos you'll find anywhere online. Hackers have breached the movie player and if they access your computer, they will change your passwords and hold them ransom. An updated version of flash player should be available for download 2/5/15, but make sure it covers this current issue when you download the upgrade.

Hi,

Thank you for the heads up. :!:

They won't get me I have recently backed up all my Docs, Pics, videos, etc. I do this once a month.

How fast can you say "Format".

I should have taken a cloned image of my hard drive, will do next time I do a fresh format.

I am using Win7 with a great program called Windows 7 firewall control.

I have nearly every program locked down to not be able to access the internet.

Another great program called CCleaner, cleans temp internet files, cookies, ect.

If you are really worried you have been hacked before a format download free,

Avira Rescue System.

It is a Linux program that runs in memory/RAM, by not loading to the hard drive it is able to scan

every file on your hard drive.

Your normal anti virus cannot scan files that are in use.

Cheers, DaveM. :)

It's a fake flashplayer update. My suggestion would be to stop watching porn for a few days.

Adobe has released an update that fixes the problem. Make sure you're getting it directly from Adobe. 8)
