i just scanned the board index here, (might have missed something), but didn't see any appropriate forums for discussing the rc8.2e. not sure if there is a place here.

otherwise, rc10talk has been HUGELY helpful to me in getting my old gold pan sorted out with brushless/lipo/2.4ghz gear. many thanks for that.

We are primarily a vintage forum, so there isn't really a place for that.... You can post but don't hold your breath for people to know what it is lol!

i know it aint vintage...

but all the same what do you guys think of associated finally committing to producing an 1/8 scale buggy?

i know NOTHING about the 1/8 racing scene and who makes the best ones, but all the same i'm pretty stoked ae is...

I am currently looking to buy either the Losi 8IGHT-E 1/8 or the Team Associated RC8.2e 1/8.

I've owned a Losi 8IGHT buggy, an 8IGHT truggy and an Associated SC8, which has RC8 bones.
I did aan electric conversion on all of them and the Losi conversion is just light years ahead of the Associated kit!
Go with the Losi, I say.

What Controllers Does everyone use, for vintage or new?

for AM, i use a old Futaba Attack Stick to bang around (gets the job done lol)

for FM, i use a airtronics M8

For Digital/SPektrum, i use a Sanwa EXZES Stick..

back in the day i cut my teeth racing dirt oval.

started with a jrx2 based edm, ended with wedge bodied cobbed together rc10/houge kit w/jg lowering kit.
we also had a bbt or ascot sprinter. i gotta get pics up of that so you guys can tell me what...
