I ran an aluminum washer on my upper motor screw for a while, eventually it deformed and allowed the motor to move.

I'm finding stripping spurs to be a lil of a problem....sometimes one will last a while, n then there will be times I'll strip one on back to back days....
I stripped one today which kinda pissed me off cause ......cause I just don't think it should've stripped.

It made me think about finding a specific pinion size I like to bash around with, setting the mesh for it and then drilling an extra hole in the motor plate going straight into the motor case.
I'm pretty sure that extra hole/screw on the top by the slot would prevent the motor from moving.

Does that sound plausible.

I'm gonna see how this one works for me....
I just set my mesh a hair tighter than I normally do. ...and then I used a lil longer screws that go through the back of the chassis into the motor plate and used a washer to adjust the length so when they're snug they're touching the motor can...so it can't slide backwards. Trying to just keep it (motor)locked in place as best I can.

I wonder if using a serrated washer on the motor plate would be beneficial.

How the hell do you pevent stripping the screw holes by the back to the chassis and the motor plate??
I seem to be making a habit of this.
