GPM STEERING ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION?!

Has anyone purchased and install a steering assembly from GPM?? Having trouble with the install . GPM parts don't look like the stock ones. :?:

Pictures of what you have? I can only find the steering for a GT and they look the same as stock only alum.

Not sure what the two post on the bottom are for. But the it should install fairly similar.

Install the bushing in the top and bottom of the arms. Slide them over the two flanges post with the flange on the bottom. Then bolt to the chassis as normal.

Ok but what about the spring and lock above the servo arm? It adjusts the tension on the servo arm
Please look at # 4 on the instructions manual. That's what I have.

That serves as a servo saver function. The GPM unit is fixed and you would need to run a servo saver on your servo if you still wanted to run one.

If you're doing any sort of hard driving especially with a plastic gear servo you would need one of these.

Sorry for the late reply but thank you for your help. I'll visit my hobby store and get one of those servo savers! :D
