Another stupid 1/12th car (1978 Bolink Electric Car)
Your daddy's daddy's car.
Auction pic:
It looks like it *might* have been assembled and run *once*. Or maybe never. Darn near perfect except for the residue on the chassis bottom from where the battery covers were glued on. This might have been a hobbyshop display car. There's some cleaning due, but it's very nice for it's age.
What I got:
Oh, got radios? (I had 'em all out... ) : Stupid, I know... But I do have all the servos and receivers for them. I think these radios are the reason so many of the 12th cars are in nice shape. The radios made the cars no fun to play with.

There was one on the 'bay this week, but $25 to open was a bit steep. Maybe he'll relist for a more reasonable price.clinehobbies wrote:Nice! I saved the pic though :
One of my 2F's has the dual-rate pot and the "adjustable" brake limiter... And I do have a few old black Russkit slotcar controllers around...

Thats an interesting parma slot car controller mod there I remember using my fathers futaba box controller by cradling it with my forearm, but could never imagine holding it by a handle like that! Maybe thats how airtronics got the design for their cs2p and xl2p

Well, Airtronics also had a surface box radio, the XL in AM:carloco8 wrote: Maybe thats how airtronics got the design for their cs2p and xl2p
There was also an FM version, the three channel CS3L.
There was an Airtronics pistol radio before the XL2P/CS2P but I can't remember the name.

Yeah, I believe it was a vt2p. I know what you mean though, I just more so ment that when I saw that slot car controller stuck on there it reminded me of those front heavy airtronics controllers. I still got nothing against them though
