Spraying black pinstripes without darkening other colors?

Long title I know, but some things just can't be avoided. Like burning the roof of your mouth on that first Pizza Roll, wearing your fingers to the bone assembling brand new turnbuckles, or waking up next to a fat chick after doing tequila shots in a Samoan Nightclub...
Anyhoo... I always have and always will use rattle cans to paint bodies. I just like the romance of it. One problem I've always avoided is darkening of other colors due to black being sprayed last. I've always followed the rule: darkest colors first. I have a body coming up that desperately calls for black pinstripes. The only way I can successfully pull off pinstripes is to paint them last. Therefore, I need a solution for my color dimming dilemma. Any help is much appreciated.
