So ebay is about to send out a mass message (that they got hacked and almost everybody's personal info and login info were stolen) to change your password.

Its about the same scale as what hit target. Its reported they dont have access to finanical information but if you linked an account to ebay via that 1 click stuff, A password is probably all they need.

you can change your password from the personal information page under account infomration.

I have yet to get an email from then, but it looks like the story is starting to hit news outlets. It seems that the attack took place between late February and early March.

Off to change yet another password....

Apparently everyone is now changing their password... The change password page is unavailable and they ask that you try again later. They also say that no activity can take place on your account until your password is reset. Just FYI.

ebay has been like that for me too. It was like that the other day too so no clue when it will fix itself. They are redoing the interface at moment too.

Having the main page not display your followed searches is annoying but should yield some deals as a result.

Very true but there was a big flashing billboard on the home page alerting everyone that it needed to be done.

when we start charging bst fees like the way ebay does, we'll be able to afford a big flashing billboard.

I like that idea...when can we start? Won't have to worry about hosting fees for awhile

Not a bad idea! That would cut down on all the Kyosho and Traxxas junk people are trying to get rid of lately!
