Well, I definitely want to retain the original look if the car while still being able to handle racing. I really think I am going to go with modern turnbuckles, slipper clutch, and 2.2 rims. I really like the Andy's arms so I definitely want to incorporate those. One thing special that I want to do is make a skoal bandit paint scheme.
Almost all my posts will be edited because I know what I want to write, but my fingers always hit the wrong keys.
Ordered / have:
B4 shocks
Dynatech arms (front and rear)
Andy's graphite Truck chassis - planning to grind down nose / drill to accept the 10T bulkhead - painted tan at moment but might strip back...

Hi, thank you. I have only run the car once on the indoor astro track but as I said I was surprised at how well it went. Jumped great and loads of initial steering, bit of understeer mid corner compared to mid motor but you would expect that. My new...
I originally wasn't going to do a build thread on this car, but figured what the heck, since I like looking at what other guys are doing. I wanted an old car that I can just drive around, whether it be track, street, yard, or whatever. It will be...

I really don't get to the track to much(ever) and VONATS 2017 was a great intro to some real track time. Scr8p and I were talking about running/practicing on an offroad track in NJ over the winter season(indoor), so it's perfect time to try and put...

My scope of this project was to make a runner out of a gold pan buggy. Parts availability being the main focus on the direction of parts that i am using. I chose to use B4 parts because they are cheep and readily available. It all started with...

Like the subject says, Gold Pan #3 finally made it in yesterday and other than bein dirty, its in really good shape and mostly complete!
Didnt notice the different shades of gold on the pan and nose/motor plate until AFTER I took the...
