It's not because I wouldn't pay that much for it, it's that I can't afford it.
If I won the lotto this week, next week I'd be working out a deal with the guy and planning a vacation to Hong Kong to go pick it up.

Yet another buggy that is high on a lot of peoples list yet was never a great car. The picture in the JR ads on Car Action always made me want one long before I knew how rare they were. Love em! But not for 6k!

sooo....the $700 NIB one on yahoo auctions a few months ago was a decent buy then?

Just like what was previously stated, if I won a few mil in a lottery, sure, no problem. Maybe I'd offer 5k... And the rest of my short list of impossible to acquire RC's would be complete as well. Until then, it's pretty cool to look at.
Or maybe I'd just buy a Class 5 buggy and head down to Baja and see how I like full size racing...
